Dorothy J Thompson, O.D.

Dr. Thompson recieved her degree in optometry from the Indiana University School of Optometry. She was born in Bloomington, Indiana and moved to Kentucky in 1986. She has worked in private practice and hospital clinics. Her husband, Tim, teaches socialogy at UK. They have 3 grown sons and 1 grandson. Interests include horses, gardening, decorating, music, quilting, all types of needlework, knitting & crocheting.

Amanda F. Berry, CPO, Apprentice Optician

Amanda grew up in Mennifee County, Kentucky. She graduated from high school in Florida, but returned to Kentucky after graduation. She became a Certified Paraoptometric in 2002 and hopes to become a licensed optician by the end of 2005. She does a great job helping people pick frames that really make them look good! She's also quite an expert answering insurance questions.
